چکیده
Abstract To improve the accuracy of interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) topographic mapping, an error source analysis method InSAR mapping based on satellite interferometry is proposed. According to basic principle altimetry, preconditions SAR are quantitatively analyzed, and phase experiment carried out. The sources formation system studied. Finally, affecting systematically analyzed. experimental results show that this has good analytical performance, evaluates propagation law each error, provides a reference for practical application.

Mapping Urban Extent Using Satellite Radar Interferometry
Phase coherence between pairs of ERS SAR images is investigated as a method for mapping urban extent in South Wales, United Kingdom. Separability indices show that image pairs with time delays of greater than 2 months and baseline separations of less than 300 m can discriminate effectively between urban and non-urban land. Classification kappa coefficients greater than 90 percent are achieved, ...
متن کاملSTORM FOREST DAMAGE MAPPING BASED ON VHR InSAR DATA
Remote sensing can be a good, effective and economic method to realise damage mapping consecutive to an extreme storm such as the one in December 1999 which severely hit Western Europe forests. Many recent studies tend to highlight this geomatic solution through high resolution optical and radar data. Here, the question asked is if higher resolution data give more efficient results. The French ...
متن کاملSatellite Based Aridity Mapping
For the instantaneous dryness mapping, the satellite derived aridity index is proposed. The proposed index is derived from the day/night surface temperature and the maximum solar flux, also it is proved that the index corresponds to the thermal admittance from the theoretical analysis of the surface energy balance. From the MODIS LST and reflectance product during 10 years, daily/monthly global...
متن کاملStudy on 3D Terrain Mapping Method Based on Triangulation
A new method is used to generate threedimensional terrain maps from discrete points in this paper. The process of generating terrain generates triangulation using the discrete points, by interpolation to calculate the elevation data of regular grid, with the Diamond-Square algorithm in fractal theory to further refine the grid data. The results of programming experiments show that realistic ter...
متن کاملFFT-based Terrain Segmentation for Underwater Mapping
A method for segmenting three-dimensional scans of underwater unstructured terrains is presented. Individual terrain scans are represented as an elevation map and analysed using fast Fourier transform (FFT). The segmentation of the ground surface is performed in the frequency domain. The lower frequency components represent the slower varying undulations of the underlying ground whose segmentat...
